3. Removable Panels. Two cost-saving alternatives to doors for enclosures requiring only occasional access are Key Panels and Liftout Panels.
   Key Panels feature exterior roll-formed flanges, similar to our standard panel, and removable interior flat flashing.

   Liftout Panels are fastener-free and feature a frame connecting adjacent panels to enclose a flush, non-flanged access panel with chrome handles and neoprene gaskets.

4. Windows. KOCH acoustical windows feature double glazed 1/4” tempered glass, acoustically sealed using a two-piece neoprene zipper gasket. Standard window sizes are:

5. Corner Construction. KOCH provides multiple solutions for enclosure corners.

• Formed Corners are one-piece tongue-in-groove, interlocking panels. Formed corners provide superior structural integrity, acoustical performance and easier assembly compared to conventional flashed corners.

• Flashed Corners are provided by flashing standard KOCH panels with 18 GA aluminized steel flashing and sheet metal screws during installation.

6. Acoustical Doors. KOCH provides multiple solutions to your door needs.

• For minimum isolation requirements, slim profile doors are ideal. Slim profile doors are 1-3/4” thick, 18 GA cold-rolled steel, pre-hung in 16 GA cold-rolled steel frames to accept the KOCH wall panel. Standard slim profile standard hardware includes 1-1/2” x 4-1/2” NRP hinges, mortise/lockset, parallel arm closer, neoprene jam gaskets, aluminum threshold and neoprene acoustical bottom seal.

• For more demanding requirements, KOCH provides 2”, 3”, 4” and 6” heavy-duty insulated acoustical doors, pre-hung in 12 GA aluminized steel frames. Standard hardware includes heavy-duty chrome camlift hinges. Centered, lock-able chrome latches with inside safety releases are also available.

• Single and Double Leaf doors are provided in the following standard sizes:

  Single Leaf 2’-6” x 7’-0” 3’-0” x 7’-0” 3’-6” x 7’-0” 4’-0” x 7’-0"

  Double Leaf 4’-0” x 7’-0” 5’-0” x 7’-0” 6’-0” x 7’-0”

• Custom door sizes and configurations are also available.

• Wall penetrations for conveyors and other process openings demand acoustical traps with maximum sound attenuation. KOCH offers special expertise with this requirement, including custom panel configurations and acoustical curtains.

8. Ventilation Panel

• Acoustically lined air intake panels and air exhaust panels incorporating an electric fan move up to 200 cfm of air. Intake air is filtered with 1/2” reusable aluminum air filter.

9. Ventilation Sound Trap

• High-efficiency intake and exhaust silencers are constructed where greater air flow is desired. Low static pressure design minimizes energy use.

10. Electrical

• Surface mounted fluorescent lights, switches, receptacles, telephone outlets, circuit breaker enclosures and other electrical accessories are provided for convenience, flexibility and aesthetics. KOCH enclosures are turnkey and trouble free!

11. Exterior Finish

• KOCH enclosures offer appearance plus performance! Standard finish is galvannealed steel (zinc coated sheet which as been annealed after coating), which provides resistance to atmospheric corrosion and is readily painted without treatment.

• KOCH offers a wide spectrum of high scuff and abrasion, corrosion and chemical resistant powder coat paint finishes resistant to cracking, peeling and marring. Protective PVC plastic is provided over finish to eliminate shipping and field assembly scratches. The film is designed to be removed after the enclosure is assembled.
